  1. CREEDS is a linear study of some of the major Creeds of the Church,
  2. presenting observations concerning the evolution of Christian doctrine
  3. as illustrated by their successive development.   It focusses on an
  4. early form of the Apostles' Creed, the form more generally in use
  5. today, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and the Article V of
  6. the Council of Chalcedon, 451 A.D..  These creeds, along with
  7. footnotes commenting on them, were compiled by a Greg W..  This is
  8. interesting reading, most especially if you have ever had any church
  9. history background.
